Blue Devils season comes to an end

Meghan Meeks led the Cato-Meridian girls basketball team with eight points but the Blue Devils fell 56-26 to Little Falls in the Section III Class C-1 quarterfinals Tuesday.
Senior Ashley Gillis finished with seven points, while seniors Brittany Haskins and Jessica Brand each put in five points.

Senior Jessica Griffiths came down with 12 boards.

“I told our seniors that it will be very hard to fill their shoes.” Blue Devils coach Charlie Balog said. “I am looking forward to next year for us with five juniors and a good group of sophomores.”
