Some sporadic lake effect snow could bring an inch or two to isolated areas of Cayuga County by Thursday morning, but a more organized storm system is headed for the county on Friday, the National Weather Service reports.
The NWS has issued a "hazardous weather outlook" for the county regarding the storm, which is expected to arrive early Friday and continue for much of the day. Storm totals at this point should be 3 to 6 inches of snow, the NWS said.
