SYRACUSE - An airplane headed for Cleveland, Ohio had to make an emergency landing in Syracuse after the pilot noticed an odor in the cockpit.
The Continental Express plane was coming from Hartford, Conn., with 53 passengers when the pilot requested the emergency landing at Syracuse's Hancock International Airport.
Commissioner of Aviation Tony Mancuso says the plane landed safely Thursday afternoon and there were no injuries. Investigators believe the odor may have come from an overheated wire.
