A Jordan man facing four drug-related charges requested in Cayuga County Court Thursday the creation of a pre-plea report before he agrees to any plea agreement.
Gage Dirisio, of 11 1/20 South Main St., Jordan, and previously of Weedsport, is charged with two counts of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and two counts of third-degree possession of a narcotic drug, all felonies.
Dirisio is accused of selling $300 worth of cocaine in two separate transactions on July 22, 2007. According to Cayuga County District Attorney Jon Budelmann, who is prosecuting the case, one transaction of $160 occurred on Elizabeth Street and the other for $140 on Janet Street, both in Auburn.
Budelmann said the probation departments for Cayuga and Onondaga counties will be doing a background check and going through any and all records for the pre-plea report.
He said that Dirisio and defense counsel David Elkovitch are asking Budelmann to consider a sentence that doesn't involve time in state prison.
Judge Thomas Leone granted the request for a pre-plea agreement and adjourned the case until April 3.
