An Auburn man was charged Friday with burglarizing a Fleming convenience store in January.
The Cayuga County Sheriff's Office arrested Eugene F. Muntz Jr., 30, of 27 Orchard St., at his home at 1:20 p.m. Friday and charged him with third-degree burglary, a felony, and petit larceny, a misdemeanor.

Police had a photo taken by a surveillance video Jan. 8 that showed a man stealing cash, cigarettes and other items from the Pit Stop convenience store in Fleming and had been searching for a suspect since that time.

Muntz was arraigned in Town of Fleming court and sent to the Cayuga County Jail, where he was held on $10,000 cash or $20,000 bond.
