Area police agencies have released activity reports for January.
Auburn police responded to 1,631 complaints, including 121 for disorderly conduct, fights and noise in January, according to the Auburn Police Department's monthly activity report. The department also reported 216 arrests during the month.
The patrol division investigated 130 motor vehicle accidents, 21 of them involving personal injuries.
Patrol officers issued 160 tickets that were results of traffic stops.
Officers responded to 13 reports of assaults and 119 incidents relating to domestic violence, as well as 17 mental health problems and five suicide attempts.
The city jail temporarily housed 23 people in January.
APD detectives were assigned 43 new cases and closed 34 cases on file. Detective investigations resulted in 15 people being arrested on criminal charges, according to the report.
The department investigated six sex offenses and managed 69 registered sex offenders who are mandated to report by law, officials said.
The Cayuga County Sheriff's Office responded to 668 calls for service, 113 motor vehicle accidents resulting in property damage and 30 personal injury motor vehicle accidents in January, the office reported.
The office made 67 penal law arrests and one driving while intoxicated arrest. It issued 110 uniform traffic tickets and served 190 civil papers with receipts of $75,876.75.
