The National Weather Service has updated its wind advisory for Sunday to include all of Cayuga County.
Westerly winds forecast for Sunday morning will reach sustained speeds of 25 to 35 mph, with gusts up to 50 mph possible. With temperatures falling to near 20 degrees, wind chill values will be around zero, possibly below zero at times.

In northern Cayuga County, the advisory is in effect from 7 a.m. Sunday to 4 a.m. Monday. In southern Cayuga County, it runs from 10 a.m. Sunday to midnight Sunday night.

Winds like these can cause minor property damages, and drivers of high-profile vehicles are advised to be extra cautious.
