An Auburn man was arrested last week on charges that he received, possessed and distributed images of child pornography, according to records with the U.S. District Court in Syracuse.
John Reese was charged following a joint investigation that included, among others, the FBI, Buffalo Police Department and the Cayuga County Sheriff's Office, according to a criminal complaint.
Court papers state that Reese received and distributed images through a file sharing program, and that he also possessed a compact disc with child pornographic images.
The arrest followed the execution of a search warrant on Friday at Reese's 241 Seymour St. residence.
