AUBURN -- A Syracuse man will serve time in prison for selling drugs.
Judge Thomas Leone sentenced Jamaren Montreal on Thursday at Cayuga County Court to four years in prison and two years of post-release supervision. Montreal, of 134 Hartson St., Syracuse, pleaded guilty to the felony of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance. He sold $1,100 worth of crack cocaine in October 2006 within Auburn city limits, according to District Attorney Jon Budelmann.
Montreal will also have to pay $320 in fees, and he will have his driver's license suspended for six months.
