Auburn senior Sean Hogan scores the opening goal of the game off an assist from Kevin Festa against West Genesee on Tuesday night at Casey Park.
Senior Sean Hogan scored Auburn's first goal with an assist by seniors Kevin Festa and Frank Murtari while Festa added the other goal but the Maroons lost 6-2 to West Genesee in a hockey game Tuesday at Casey Park in Auburn.

Matt Festa and Andrew Chadderdon added assists. Tommy Trowell finished with 27 saves in the loss.

“This is why West Genesee is so good right now.” Maroons coach Mike Lowe said. “They are a great scoring team and are very good. We had a great year by our seniors and will miss their contributions.”

The Maroons have seven graduating seniors that were all honored before the game in their home finale including Brendan Lewis, Chris Clifford, Scott Garrett, Ryan May, Hogan, Kevin Festa and Murtari.

Auburn (8-14-1) travels to Fayetteville-Manlius Thursday.
