Who is this "auditor" -- some political hack the council hired? I thought we hired Mr. Palesh to run the city, but if the city council wants to micromanage everything he does, then they don't need a professional to do it.
I see Obama said he would give all illegal immigrants drivers licenses. Here we go again --- they just don't get it.
The illegals are going to get the tax rebate money because some of them pay taxes. They even know where to send the check --- go figure.
Mr. McNabb ought to get over it. Yes, the city manager did hire some lawyers that weren't on Mr. McNabb's political payback list, but that's life.
Does Quill ever stop trying to spend our money? Now he wants to hire one of his friends to be a full-time lawyer for the city, which amounts to about $170,000 a year plus benefits for life.

That's a lot of corn bread and chicken right there. It could probably be better spent stocking local food pantries. "
