The worst of the messy winter weather that covered the region Friday has moved on, clearing the way for what should be a dry weekend, the National Weather Service reports on Saturday morning.
The NWS issued a weather statement for most of central New York saying the area will see some flurries and patchy freezing in the morning Saturday with little or no accumulation.
The forecast for the balance of the day calls for cloudy skies with a high near 35, and a low at night around 24.
On Sunday, it will again be cloudy, with a high of 38 and a low of 26.
