ROSEMONT, Ill. - Arinze Onuaku scored 22 points and had nine rebounds to lead a short-handed Syracuse to a 60-55 win over DePaul on Wednesday night.
Freshman Donte Greene scored 14 points and sophomore Paul Harris added 10 to help Syracuse coach Jim Boeheim get his 765th victory, 10th all-time in Division I and tied with Connecticut's Jim Calhoun.

Syracuse (15-7, 5-4 Big East) had just seven available scholarship players after freshman guard Scoop Jardine was suspended indefinitely Sunday for violating university policy.

Trailing 47-44 with 9:17 left, the Orange responded with a 10-2 decisive run.

Kristof Ongenaet's putback gave Syracuse a 54-49 lead with 3:03 left.

Freshman Dar Tucker's basket and Karron Clarke's free throws pulled DePaul (9-11, 4-4) to 54-53 with 1:30 left, but Syracuse's Paul Harris answered with a basket and two free throws for a 58-53 lead.

Will Walker led the Blue Demons with 14 points. Clarke added 10 points and 11 rebounds.

Syracuse led 32-31 at the half. The Orange were 15-for-19 and DePaul was 4-for-4 from the free-throw line.
