Health care system fails to help all who need it

Saturday, January 26, 2008 11:06 PM EST

I would just like to say, for a person that is trying to make a living and raise three children and has united health care through Medicaid because I make too much to get Medicaid, yet can't get the medical needs that I need because the doctors around here do not ACCEPT IT ... but will take Medicaid.
I'm sorry, but for a person trying to work and not sit home and collect welfare, that needs medical help like a dermatologist and cannot come up with $180 to pay for the first visit, just to see if they can look at you, and refuses to take a payment of $50 a week, that's sad. What is this world coming to? Please explain. Somebody ... help ...

" Rub sonme dirt on it and take a lap. If that doesn't work, take an aspirine with a swig of OJ. "

" You are so right Kathy. Unfortunalely, no one will step up to help. the Doctors in Auburn must be too poor to help the poor. Politicians are all in the pockets of the Health Insurance companies. Make sure that you vote. Vote for the guy who will provide health care for all people. "
