The state-ranked Cato-Meridian wrestling team continued its dominance on the mats on Friday, easily defeating Hannibal 42-18.
Sophomore lightweight Dom Giacolone upped his personal record to 27-2 with a tech fall win in the 103-pound weight class late in the meet.
Giacolone, who has not been pinned all season, has not lost a match since Jan. 5 against Indian River's Matt Gray.
Ethan Holt (152) advanced to 21-5 with a 6-5 decision win and senior Darin Fellows (135) went to 20-5 with a tech fall win.
Nick Lalone (140) won by a decision of 6-2, advancing to 29-3 on the season, Marc Walton (145) goes to 25-7 with a 7-4 decision win, Pat Walton (125) won by a 4-2 decision.
Joey Giuffrida (160) and Seth Trapp (215) also won by a pins and Allen Holdridge (119) won by a decision of 6-1.
Cato-Meridian (18-1) has won six-straight OHSL Patriot League titles and continues to prepare for the Section III, Division II tournament.
The Blue Devils head to Rome Free Academy to participate in the Section III Dual Meet Tournament with 16 other teams, including powerhouses Mexico, Fulton and Indian River.
