Paul Taylor 2 - or the Paul Taylor Dance Company - will be leaping on stage this Sunday at the Auburn Public Theater.

Paul Taylor 2, the company's touring group, is doing a residency at Wells College and decided to do some community outreach while in the area. Made up of approximately six members, the group will wow audiences with its athleticism, grace and undeniable talent for the art of dance.

Influenced in part by Mexican folk dance, Paul Taylor, as quoted on his Web site, has said that his performers are truly brilliant performers in with the ability to master any step.

The touring company will also be hosting several other performances in the area, including a performance for school children at the Auburn Public Theater on Friday, Jan. 25. The group will also be visiting the Absolute Dance Company for a Master Class on Sunday, Jan. 27. This class will be open for viewing by the public at no charge, however, space is limited.
