An upside to the economic decline
AUBURN - The jobs will be here in Cayuga County, it's just a matter of what government and business leaders want to do with them.
Despite threats of a national recession, economic experts outlined positive trends for about 130 politicians and county Chamber of Commerce members Thursday.
A few factors put the county in a unique position heading into the next five to 10 years, state Department of Labor Economist Roger Evans said at the Chamber's annual Economic Forecast Luncheon.
