Senior captain Caryn Crary led the Skaneateles girls basketball team with 14 points, six rebounds, four assists and three steals in a 57-44 loss over Bishop Ludden on Thursday.
Brittany LaVaute added 10 points, while Staci Dudden tallied nine points, four rebounds, two assists and one steal and Alexis Jones had nine points.
The Lakers were outscored 17-7 in the second quarter after being down just five at the end of the first.
“We were able to improve in the second half but it was too late,” Lakers coach Bob Braunitzer said.
The Lakers outscored the Knights 24-22 in the second half.
Skanealetes (10-7 overall, 4-6 league) hosts Solvay Tuesday.

Jessica Brand led the Blue Devils with six points and Michelle Townsend pitched in with five points.

Erin Myers led the Warriors with five digs. Nicole Huttar had a team high of five kills and Chelsea Paquette scored three kills.
Weedsport (11-3 overall, 9-2) hosts undefeated LaFayette Saturday.

Jacob Carbalho picked up a win for the Lakers in a 7-4 decision over Ryan Erb in the 130-pound weight class.
