Morin records hat trick as Ice Hawks tie

Jacob Morin finished with a hat trick but it wasn't enough as the Auburn Ice Hawks Mite I hockey team tied Cortland 6-6 in a game over the weekend.
Also scoring for the Ice Hawks was Kaiden Tubbert (two goals, one assist). Brendan Williams and Tyler Ely each helped out with one assist. Defensively, the Ice Hawks had great effort from Kate Diffin and Jake Reilly.

Matt Van Liew also played well offensively.

Goalie Evan Ryan finished the game with 13 saves.

Valley 9, Auburn 7

Morin finished with two goals and two assists in the loss.

Other leading scorers for the Ice Hawks were Tubbert with two goals and one assist, T.J. Reilly and Adam Lupo with one goal and one assist apiece and Williams with one goal.

Defensively, the Ice Hawks were led by Austin Fraher and Garrett Schafer.

Ryan had 11 saves.

Auburn 3, Centerstate 3

Danny Entenmann, Brian Francischelli and Austin Gregory each found the net for the Ice Hawks. Conor Hastings and Logan Enge both had one assist.

Goalie Jack Farrington finished the game with 19 saves.

Olean 4, Auburn 1

Gregory scored the lone goal and was assisted by Logan Enge.

Farrington finished with 24 saves.

Auburn 3, Binghamton 3

Entenmann did all the scoring for Auburn while Henry Foresman and Jay Wilkes had one assist each.

Farrington finished with 20 saves.

BANTAM

Martin Luther King Jr. Tournament

Clinton 7, Auburn 3

John Shaw, Brendan King and Urson Lasagna each scored a goal for the Ice Hawks.

The goals were assisted by Kyle Hlywa and Mike Tarby.

Goalie Mark Bruno made 44 saves.

Monroe City 5, Auburn 5

King led Auburn with one goal and two assists, Hlywa had one goal and one assist, Jacob Jackson, Connor Davenport and Tarby finished with one goal each, John Shaw grabbed two assists and Zach Shea helped out with one assist.

Bruno finished with 22 saves in net.

Bethlehem 5, Auburn 4

Hlywa who scored two goals while Zach Shea and Connor Davenport each found the net in the loss.

King, Lasagna and Jackson helped out with one assist each.

Bruno made 34 saves.
