Fred Thompson, an overshadowed candidate

Saturday, January 19, 2008 11:14 PM EST

With all the fuss about the Republican primaries, a lot of focus has been on the Reagan Era. A primary question is who can restore America to a time of flourishing economy and protection from foreign invaders. The answer to this question is simple: Fred Thompson.
He has a 100 percent pro-life record, a strong stand on Social Security, an outstanding support for our military, and supports low taxes to keep our economy at the top. He has been overshadowed by the comical candidates and those who flip-flop. This goes against what the elections are all about. We need to elect someone who will fight for the benefits of America as a whole. He will strengthen our border and will fight to keep American safe.

That is why we need to look past the illusions and look at the issues, where Fred Thompson is bar-none the best candidate.

" Fred Thompson sincerely scares me. He is a lazy, unmotivated candidate who is leaning on his acting skills and annoying habit of digging up Ronald "I'm a Contra too!" Reagan's name as if that could somehow confer legitimacy and intelligence to his him and his campaign. And that "100% pro-life record" only means he's out-of-step with the majority of Americans who want abortion to remain legal and safe.
Hmmm. Nah! .....next? "

" We don't need another actor that can act the role of a politician. Didn't we learn from our last mistake, Ronny Raygun? Can't the republicans find a REAL candidate for president? "
