Corissa Quattrini lead Cayuga Community College with 15 points nad 13 rebounds in a 60-43 loss to Herkimer Community College in a women's college basketball game Sunday.
The Spartans took a 25-23 lead in the half but couldn't hold off Herkimer in the second half.
“He had a very cold first 12 minutes of the second half,” Cayuga coach Jim Alberici said. “We managed just six points and couldn't buy a basket for the longest time.”
Stephanie Jakaub and Courtney Dare each added seven points in the loss while Tiffany Collinsworth and Kaitlin Bielec each pulled down eight rebounds.
Cayuga (7-6) opens conference play Thursday at Tompkins-Cortland Community College.
