Two towns are considering offering property tax exemptions for residents with disabilities. Robert Brown Jr., assessor for the towns of Niles and Moravia, said the plans are based on a new state law. “The exemptions plan is a new law passed this legislative session,” Brown said. “It enables the towns to adopt a law that offers exemptions to disabled people who qualify.”

Mike Ryan, the 1999 runner-up, was the only bowler to break 700 on the second day of qualifying for the 2003 Mens Citizen Masters Tournament at the Polish Falcon Lanes. It took a score of 606 to make the cut for match play. Ryan bowled 705 on games of 245-193-267 on the noon squad and was followed by Steve Suslik with 693 and two-time champion (1987 and 1996) and 2002 runner-up Greg Spinelli was next with 691.
