Discover Hubble Space Telescope
Hubble Vision, a multimedia show that presents discoveries of the Hubble Space Telescope, will air at 7:30 tonight, at the Southern Cayuga School, immediately south of Poplar Ridge on the east side of Route 34B.
Viewers can see a star formation, star death, colliding galaxies and revealing views of the planets. The show is accompanied by a stars-on-the-dome program, What's Up! Also, the nearby observatory will be open after the planetarium presentation if skies are clear and if temperatures are above freezing.
This event is free and open to the public. No reservations will be taken, so visitors are advised to arrive at least 15 minutes early for the best seats. Doors close when the theater's 60 seats are filled.
For further information, contact Alan Ominsky by e-mailing ominskya@southerncayuga.org or calling 364-7461.
