Champions for Life Sports Center will be holding special Holiday Open Gym Sessions from 10 a.m. to noon Dec. 28 for all ages, as well as from 6-7:30 p.m. on Dec. 28 for ages 10-and-under and 7:30 - 9 p.m. on that day for ages 11-and-up.

Port Byron offering baseball clinic
A baseball clinic for Port Byron students will be offered from 10 a.m. to noon today and Friday at the Port Byron Middle School gym for grades 4-8 and from noon to 2 p.m. for grades 9-12.

YMCA travel team taking registrations
The Auburn YMCA travel team now taking registrations. It is an eight-week wrestling program, that meets from 6:30 to 7:40 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays for interested parties in grades 3-6.
No experience is necessary and the cost is $40 per child, with a YMCA member discount available. There is a $100 family rate.
Practice begins the week of Jan. 7 and there will be no practice during February break.
Wrestling Fun Festival dates and locations are as follows:
Jan. 26, 8 a.m. to noon at Driver Middle School in Marcellus
Feb. 2, 8 a.m. to noon at Driver Middle School in Marcellus
Feb. 16, 8 a.m. to noon at West Genesee
March 1, 8 a.m. to noon at Driver Middle School in Marcellus
March 8, Year End Festival, TBD
Festivals are optional, participants may attend as many as they'd like.

D-days Hot Stove Dinner is Feb. 2
The 2008 Auburn Doubledays Hot Stove Dinner will feature an active Major League player for the third straight year.
Current Toronto Blue Jays and former Doubledays pitcher Jesse Litsch will participate in this year's dinner at 5:30 p.m. Feb. 2, at Springside Inn.
Litsch will join Doubledays manager Dennis Holmberg among the honored guests for the evening.
Tickets for the dinner are $35 and are currently available by calling the Doubledays offices at 255-2489.
The ticket includes a family style dinner and will begin with a cocktail hour including appetizers and a silent auction.
In it's first four years, the dinner has raised $12,000 for local charities including Hillside Children's Center, Matthew House, the United Way and the Leo Pinckney Scholarship Fund.
Past guests have included ESPN analyst Keith Law, Blue Jays infielder Russ Adams and outfielder Adam Lind.
If you would like your charity considered, please send a letter to the Doubledays by Nov. 21.
If your business would like to donate an item to the silent auction, please call the Doubledays' offices between 10 a.m.- 5 p.m.
