Union Springs will hold its wrestling alumni recognition match at 5:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 7.
Bass Pro giving away Wii systems
Bass Pro Shops Sportman's Center at the Fingerlakes Mall will be giving away seven Wii systems along with two games each for the last seven days of shopping right before Christmas. Anyone can enter and all you need to do is go into the store, go through the line and ask the cashier for a form. Customers can enter each day and there will be a drawing at each of those seven nights approximately at 8 p.m.
Babe Ruth seeks new board personnel
Auburn Babe Ruth baseball is looking for new board members.
The next meeting is at 6:30 p.m. Jan. 14 at the Knights of Columbus.

Port Byron to offer baseball clinic
A baseball clinic for Port Byron students will be offered from 10 a.m. to noon on Dec. 26, 27, 28 at the Port Byron Middle School gym for grades 4-8 and from noon to 2 p.m. for grades 9-12.

YMCA travel team taking registrations
The Auburn YMCA travel team now taking registrations. It is an eight week program, that meets from 6:30 to 7:40 p.m. on Mondays and Thursdays for interested parties in grades 3-6. No experience is necessary and the coast is $40 per child, with a YMCA member discount available. There is a $100 family rate.
Practice begins the week of Jan. 7 and there will be no practice during February break.

The Cato-Meridian Community Recreation Center is having a five day Learn to Swim Program on Dec. 24, 26-29. Participants will learn basic water safety and swimming skills while having fun. Interested parties should register by Dec. 22. Call 626-6735 for more information.

There will be a LeMoyne softball clinic on Jan. 13, Jan. 27 and Feb. 3 at LeMoyne's Athletic and Recreation building.
The clinics will be divided into two sessions - pitching and hitting/defense.
