Lattimore shouldn't talk about his religious views

Saturday, December 15, 2007 9:46 PM EST

Once again Mr. Timmy Lattimore has shown the great people of Auburn how ignorant and selfish he is when it comes to his “power hungry” ways. This time he's decided that prayer is more important that showing that he's diverse.
At the opening of a council meeting, he feels that the Serenity Prayer is something that everyone should be subject to, but what he lacks to see is that government is supposed to be free of being subject to an elected official religious views.

I can tell you I am proud to say that his time is finally up, and soon we'll have a real mayor to run the City of Auburn, sadly he has a huge mess to clean up.

" What business is it of his, being that he is from Cato? The only important thing going on in Cato is that you can switch the letters around to spell a really good word--TACO, mmmmmmmmmmmm. "

" Dave R, a typical response; short, insulting and completely devoid of any value or insight. What have you to offer to this conversation? What acumen (look it up) do you have to counter mine, revealed in the fourth letter about Madalyn O'Hair on the other page? Nada. Nothing. Go back to administering your bikini wax. Ironically, in this case, coach's sarcasm is well-spoken. "

" I find that the intermingling of species, such as puppies playing with kittens, is as offensive as racists passing a law to try and push a black lady and her pit bull out of an all white neighborhood down nears Tops Market. "

" I'm a confirmed agnostic, and Tim reciting that prayer is as inoffensive to me as puppies playing with kittens. This letter is a complete joke and I'm a little perturbed at the thought I'll never get the 30 seconds of my life back I spent reading this idiotic letter. "

" I think it's HILARIOUS how whenever a religious person gets themselves all worked up like coach frequently does here, they end their rant with a "God Bless you. I will pray for you."! Does this somehow "absolve" them of their "sin" of "anger"? LOL! "

" If you dont want to listen to his prayer, plug your ears! What about the people that enjoyed it?What harm does it do?That must have been just so hard for you to sit though....WAWAWAWA.You want to cry about something ,cry when child molesters get probation or a drug dealer sell drugs to kids!Prayer? If thats your biggest problem you can think of to cry about , I feel sorry for you. God Bless you. I will pray for you . "
