I loved reading about the honest person who returned the purse and groceries that Ms. Middleton lost at Walmart. I would also like to read that my colorful cane that I need for walking is returned. It was taken from the P&C parking lot early the other night.
You see, I inadvertently left it in my cart. Please return it, NO QUESTIONS ASKED, to the Customer Service Desk at the P&C. We know who took the cane, as security cameras saw you pull my name tag off the cane and throw it on the ground.
To atone for your split second of bad judgment, I suggest you return my cane and make a donation to the Christmas Elf, c/o this newspaper.
I don't believe you are a bad person and this action would show the kind of person you really are.
