Players to hold open auditions
The Auburn Players Community Theatre will hold open auditions for its next production, Arthur Miller's “All My Sons,” at 6 tonight, Monday and Tuesday, Dec. 10 and 11, in the Community Room at The Willard Memorial Chapel, 17 Nelson St., Auburn.
Those auditioning will be asked to read from the script and should bring a pen and a picture. All roles are open.

The Finger Lakes Ski Club will hold its annual Christmas party and 35th reunion at the monthly meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 11, at the Knights of Columbus, Market Street, Auburn.

Senior citizens of the Union Springs Central School District are invited to a luncheon at 1:15 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 18, at the middle/high school. Refreshments will be served in the library/media center at 12:30 p.m. followed by a short musical program in the auditorium and a family-style turkey luncheon in the cafeteria.
Call Debbie Robinson at 889-4101 by Friday, Dec. 14, to make a reservation or sign up through one of the local senior centers.
Concert pianist returns in April
California pianist Jon Nakamatsu will perform solo in April for the Adams Foundation Piano Series. The concert takes place at 2 p.m. April 20, at the Westminster Presbyterian Church, 17 William St., Auburn.
Admission is $15 ($5 for students), and tickets are available exclusively at the Westminster Church Office or by mail order. Visit westminsterauburn.org or call 253-3331.
Holiday contest deadline extended
The Citizen invites residents of Cayuga County, Skaneateles, Jordan, Elbridge and Seneca Falls to send in photos of their decorated houses for The Citizen Holiday Contest.
Houses will be displayed online at auburnpub.com and will be judged by The Citizen staff. The top three will win gas cards - $100, $50 and $25. The overall winner will be featured in a future Lake Life story.
Interested decorators can send their best photo and a short explanation of why you should be chosen, to CitizenHolidayContest@gmail.com or mail them in to The Citizen, Holiday Contest, 25 Dill St., Auburn, NY 13021. Entries must now be received by midnight Sunday, Dec. 16. Include full name, address and contact information.
