Warming children
PORT BYRON - Brittany Westover has idolized Disney Channel's Miley Stewart and her alter-ego Hannah Montana for more than a year, and now she'll be able to see the actress/singer Miley Cyrus in person.
Westover, 9, of Conquest, won two tickets to see Hannah Montana in concert Dec. 16 in Rochester, and she couldn't be happier.
“It's exciting because you don't get to see her every day,” said the fourth-grader from A. A. Gates Elementary School. “It's exciting because she's a pop star.”

Owasco - For the Rev. Marcia Gibbons, Wednesday, Nov. 21, was a day of happiness and a day of heartbreak. It was the day she was moving into the parsonage of the Owasco Reformed Church, where she would live as its first pastor in two years. And it was the day her husband died, while in the hotel room before they had actually moved in.
