Weather causes TV shows to be cancelled
Weather cancelled Cayuga Community College classes that produced the television shows “Inside Government with Guy Cosentino” and “Beyond the Front Page with Guy Cosentino.” The shows were scheduled to run on Thursday.
The season will return in February when classes are back in session.
Sheriff's office to hold driving course
The Cayuga County Sheriff's office will hold a two-night accident prevention course from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 11, and Wednesday, Dec. 12 at the Southern Cayuga Central School planetarium.
Those who complete the course will receive a 10 percent reduction on their collision and liability automobile insurance and a four-point reduction from their license. There is a $25 fee, and attendees must pre-register by calling 364-7251.
