Auburn Memorial Hospital has been given some additional time to formulate its Chapter 11 bankruptcy reorganization plan.
The judge in AMH's bankruptcy case on Thursday granted a motion to extend the time period in which the hospital has the exclusive right to file such a plan. The plan deadline is being moved from Dec. 20 to April 18. The deadline for soliciting acceptance of that plan from stakeholders also moves, from Feb. 18 to June 17.

The extension is the second secured by the hospital since it filed for bankruptcy protection in April. AMH cited the complex nature of the case in asking for more time to come up with a plan that satisfies all stakeholders.
