Teen faces drugs, fireworks charges
An Auburn teenager faces various charges after Auburn Police said he possessed marijuana and illegal fireworks.
At 9 p.m. Friday, a patrol officer responded to a residential alarm at 21 S. Lewis St., found an open door and entered the residence, according to the police report. Police discovered an area in the residence where marijuana had been grown in plain view, as well as 26.5 ounces of the drug stored in containers, according to the APD.
Police said they also found fireworks in the same area, including Roman candles and bottle rockets.
Caleb Douglas Hudgins, 19, who lives at the residence, was arrested at the scene and charged with the felony of second-degree criminal possession of marijuana, the misdemeanor of growing cannabis and the violation of possession of fireworks.
