Food Bank gets funds for pantries
Gov. Eliot Spitzer has announced that $5 million in additional funding will be provided for food agencies across the state.
The Food Bank of Central New York, which serves Cayuga County, will receive $552,100.
The additional funding is intended to help keep pantries stocked through the holiday season.
