There are 30 days to go until Christmas, and many more holiday activities than that can hasten its arrival.

'Tis the season at home, where you can decorate your house for The Citizen's Holiday Contest or watch “A Christmas Story,” and in downtown Auburn, where you can catch “A Child's Christmas in Wales” at the Auburn Public Theater or tour the historic homes during the annual Holiday Traditions open house.

It may be difficult to decide which attractions to see and which to skip, but The Citizen has outlined the perfect holiday schedule down to each day prior to Christmas. However you choose to occupy those chilly days (at home or out on the town), you won't be bored by the time Santa tumbles down the chimney.
