Eric Richards was the games leading-scorer with 25 points and teammate Jake Tracy added 17 points as the Skaneateles boys basketball team defeated Weedsport 63-60 in the first round of the Tully Tip-off Tournament on Wednesday.
Justin McDeid led the Warriors with 20 points.
Skaneateles (1-0) plays the winner of Tully and Jordan-Elbridge at 7:30 p.m. Saturday in the tournament championship game. Weedsport (0-1) plays the loser of that game at 5:30 p.m. in the consolation game.
