Looking for a place to eat on Thanksgiving? A number of fine restaurants may still be able to take reservations on Thanksgiving Day.
The Sunset Restaurant, located at 93 N. Division St. in Auburn, offers a buffet from noon to 4 p.m. for $14.95 for adults and $7.25 for children 8 years old and younger.

The Sunset has been preparing Thanksgiving meals for the past 20 years or so.

The Springside Inn on Route 38 offers a buffet for $19. Thanksgiving meals are served at noon, 2:30 and 5 p.m.

The Restaurant at Elderberry Pond will have seatings at noon and 4 p.m. for a traditional turkey dinner. Eat as much as you want as food is prepared right out of the kitchen. Located on 3728 Center St. Road, two miles from Routes 5 and 20 between Auburn and Skaneateles, the restaurant has served Thanksgiving meals for four years.

The price for adults is $30 with $15 for children. Seating is limited as the capacity of the restaurant is 60, so call by mid-morning.

Joelle's French Bistro on State Street Road in Skaneateles is also open for the Thanksgiving holiday.

This will be the first year the bistro serves a four-course meal with a varied menu for $46 for adults and $23 for children, with very small children free. A choice of turkey, ham or salmon for the entree is accompanied by corn chowder, a variety of vegetables, apple nut or sweet potato cake, and pie or creme caramel for dessert.

Dinner is served at 3 and 8 p.m. Reservations can still be made during the day.

The Sherwood Inn in Skaneateles is serving Thanksgiving dinner between noon and 8 p.m. The three-course meal is served family style and costs $25 per person. Call in the morning for the few seats still available.
