Pierogis will not be sold at St. Hyacinth's Church on the next two Fridays, Nov. 23 or 30. Sales will resume Friday, Dec. 7. Orders will be accepted by phone until noon Thursday, Dec. 6.

Breakfast with Santa at pavilion
Families can join Santa again this year at the annual Santa Breakfast to be held from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Saturdays, Dec. 1, 8 and 15, at the Emerson Park Pavilion. Cost is $1 per person; children 2 and under are free with a canned good.
This event is sponsored by Wegmans and Cayuga County Parks and Trails Department. Face painting will be offered and is sponsored by the Merry-Go-Round Youth Theater.

Canal museum offers workshops
The Erie Canal Museum will host “Children Workshops at the Museum,” where children can build their own gingerbread houses, at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 1 and 8. Space is limited so sign-ups are encouraged. The workshop is $5 for members and $8 for non-members.
The museum will also feature a gallery of gingerbread houses from Friday, Nov. 23 through Monday, Dec. 31. The museum is located at 318 Erie Blvd. East, Syracuse, and is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays, and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sundays.

Hotel Syracuse to host Teddy Bear Tea
Children, adults and teddy bears are invited to the 20th annual Teddy Bear Tea to be held from noon to 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 2, in the Grand Ballroom at the Hotel Syracuse, 500 S. Warren St. Early arrival begins at 11:30 a.m.
This event is open to children ages 3 to 10 years old. This year's participants will enjoy entertainment by musical group Milk and Cookies, arts and crafts and other activities.
The event's grand finale will be a Teddy Bear Parade through downtown Syracuse to the Everson Museum's Holiday Festival of Trees. The event will end at the museum, 401 Harrison St., Syracuse.
Tickets are $20 per child and $25 per adult. Admission to the Everson Museum's Holiday Festival of Trees is included in the Teddy Bear Tea ticket price.
