Valesky, Arcuri to appear on TV shows
A pair of episodes of “Inside Government with Guy Cosentino” will air tonight on Time Warner Cable.
State Sen. David Valesky, D-Oneida, will discuss passed and upcoming legislation on “Inside Government” at 7 p.m. U.S. Rep. Michael Arcuri, D-Utica, will recap a recent trip to Iraq and reflect on his first year in Congress at 7:30 p.m.
Both shows will air on Channel 12. Viewers can send questions they would like to ask guests by e-mail to cozguytho@aol.com.
Board of elections updates Locke race
Due to a clerical error at the Cayuga County Board of Elections, the unofficial results initially posted for the Locke Town Council race were incorrect.
Republican Anita Vogel and Democrat John Corcoran were elected to two council seats with 201 and 154 votes, respectively. Democrat Charles Mott came in third with 137 votes. All votes in the Locke election have been counted, however the results remain unofficial until all the town races are verified.
Audubon center on winter hours
The Montezuma Audubon Center is now operating under winter hours.
The center is open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and noon to 4 p.m. Sundays. It will be closed on Thanksgiving, Nov. 22, and Dec. 23 through Jan. 1 for the Christmas holiday.
The center will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 23.
