After spending more than three years as principal of Auburn High School, David Roth will be moving on to lead a high school in the Rochester area in 2008.
Roth will join the Honeoye Falls-Lima Central School District as principal of the Honeoye Falls-Lima High School at the beginning of the year, according to a letter sent to parents and students by the Honeoye Falls district superintendent Michelle Kavanaugh. The district anticipates a board of education appointment on Dec. 4 with an expected start date of Jan. 2, 2008.
According to the letter, Roth was selected from 26 eligible candidates.
Before coming to Auburn in 2004, Roth was principal of about 720 students grades five to 12 at Avoca Junior-Senior High School in Steuben County.
