Supervisor Austin L. Mott of Locke was in town yesterday afternoon to present for payment by County Treasurer Maurice D. Richards a bill for $17 to recompense Robert Kelly of Locke for two sheep killed by vicous dogs on his farm Sunday.

With so few people voting and no change in the makeup of the City Council politically, the two new councilors taking their seats at City Hall this January have no clear mandate. With results from this year's election unofficially counted, Democrats Chuck Mason and Robert Hunter will replace outgoing Democratic Councilors Ann Bunker and Robert Bergan, who chose not to seek re-election.

City Councilors Tom McNabb and Bill Jacobs have reiterated their concerns about the thousands of crows that invade the city every winter. The two councilors said it was time the city did something about the pesky birds.
