YMCA offering dodgeball league
The Auburn YMCA-WEIU is offering a co-ed dodgeball league beginning from 6-8 p.m., Nov. 30.
Offered for adults. the league meets on Friday nights for six weeks, plus two weeks of playoffs .
The team fee is $75 (for each non-YMCA member, add $15) and teams must consist of six more more players.
Registration deadline is noon on Nov. 29. Roster and payment must be presented at time of registration.
Doubledays hot stove tickets on sale
Current Toronto Blue Jays and former Doubledays pitcher Jesse Litsch will participate in this year's Auburn Doubledays hot stove dinner at 5:30 p.m. on Feb. 2, at the Springside Inn.
Litsch will join Doubledays manager Dennis Holmberg among the honored guests for the evening.
Tickets for the dinner are $35 and are currently available by calling the Doubledays offices at 255-2489.
The ticket includes a family style dinner and will begin with a cocktail hour including appetizers and a silent auction.
Over it's first four years, the dinner has raised $12,000 for local charities including Hillside Children's Center, Matthew House, the United Way and the Leo Pinckney Scholarship Fund.
Past guests have included ESPN analyst Keith Law, Blue Jays infielder Russ Adams and outfielder Adam Lind.
If you would like your charity considered, please send a letter to the Doubledays by Nov. 21.
If your business would like to donate an item to the silent auction, please call the Doubledays' offices between 10 a.m.- 5 p.m.
Softball clinic will be at LeMoyne
There will be a LeMoyne softball clinic on Nov. 18, Dec. 2, Dec. 9, Dec. 16, Jan. 13, Jan. 27 and Feb. 3 at LeMoyne's Athletic and Recreation building.
The clinics will be divided into two sessions: pitching and hitting/defense.
The pitching session will be from 8:30 to 10 a.m. while the hitting and defense session will run from 10:30 a.m. to noon.
The cost of each session is $10 or $15 to attend both.

Storm cheerleading holding signups
The CNY Storm All-Star cheerleading team is currently holding sign ups for their half year competitive team.
There will be two teams offered one for ages 6-9 (Mini), and the other for 10-18 year olds (junior/senior). Sign ups are on Monday Nov. 19 at 5:45 PM.

Bowling masters will be Dec. 1
The second annual Pilat Design Sport Bowling Masters will be Dec. 1-2.
There will be a 1 p.m. qualifying squad the first day at Starlite Lanes, followed by the finals beginning at noon the next day at Falcon Lanes. Guaranteed top prize is $700, with the winner also receiving a championship trophy in memory of Tom Aubin. Entry fee is $50.
