Rules for The Great Pumpkin Hunt 2007

1. The Great Pumpkin Hunt clues will be published in The Citizen beginning Sunday, October 21, 2007. A new clue will be published each day through Saturday November 3, 2007, unless The Great Pumpkin is found before that date. BEWARE OF PRANKSTERS HIDING "FALSE PUMPKINS". The Great Pumpkin will be marked with a code number, the lucky finder will need to verify.
2. If The Great Pumpkin is not found by November 3, 2007 explanations of individual clues will be published beginning November 4, 2007.

3. Must be 18 years or older to win.

4. The finder of The Citizen Great Pumpkin Hunt must immediately return the pumpkin to The Citizen, 25 Dill Street Auburn, NY 13021, (during normal business hours 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday to qualify for the $500 prize. By returning The Citizen's Great Pumpkin Hunt Pumpkin and claiming the $500 prize, participant understands and agrees that The Citizen will use their name and picture in advertisements.

5. Winner is responsible for all applicable state and federal taxes.

6. The Citizen's Great Pumpkin is hidden within our circulation area and on public land.

7. The Citizen reserves the right to discontinue the Hunt at any time.

8. No purchase is necessary to win. Daily clues will be available for review at The Citizen during normal business hours. All contest rules and decisions are final. Employees and immediate family members of The Citizen are not eligible. The Citizen's independent contractors and their immediate family members are not eligible.

9. A copy of these rules will remain posted in the lobby of The Citizen, 25 Dill St., Auburn, NY 13021, and on line at www.auburnpub.com throughout the contest.
