Auburn native Jeremy Morin scored a hat trick to lead the U.S. National Under-17 hockey team to a 6-4 victory over Russia at the Dimitrov Arena. The three-goal performance was the first by a member of the team this season. He has amassed five multi-point games this season.

Team USA was trailing 4-0 before Morin led the team in its lone exhibition game before the 2007 Four Nations Tournament kicks off on Friday. USA scored four of its goals in the second period. In the net, Adam Murray made 18 saves to help secure the win.

Team USA secured its first lead at the 10:41 mark of the third period after Chris Brown notched his first game-winning goal of the year thanks to an assist from Ryan Walters.

The US National Under-17 Team begins its quest for a championship in the Four Nations Tournament on Friday with a matchup against Sweden.
