Q. What is the one food you cannot live without? Why?
A. Pizza, because it's fast and easy to make.

Q. Fill in the blank. People would be surprised to know that even though I work in the food industry, when I am at home in the kitchen, I __________.

A. Microwave everything!

Q. What do you like most about living and working in the Finger Lakes region?

A. I love that we experience all four seasons, especially fall; that's when I tell all my customers how beautiful the wine trails are at this time of year.

Q. If you were given $1 million to open your own restaurant, describe it and what type of food you would serve.

A. I think I would open a '50s-style rockabilly joint.

Q. Where would it be located?

A. Right here in Auburn, perhaps in an abandoned factory.

Q. On the day of your restaurant's grand opening, if you could select anyone in the world to be your first three guests, who would they be?

A. Anthony Bourdain (host of “No Reservations”), Amy Sedaris (Author of “I like You: Hospitality Under the Influence”), and Larry David (just because he is hysterical).

Q. Describe your most embarrassing moment while working on the job.

A. I tripped over a case of beer and fell flat on my face while bartending for a huge wedding party. The worst thing was I brought down the entire portable bar with me.

Q. What is your favorite junk food?

A. Chocolate!

Q. What have you learned are the top three ways to run a successful food business?

A. Happy employees, high quality food and quick service will lead to happy customers.

Q. Ughh. What's the one food which you absolutely can't stomach? Why?

A. Mincemeat pie, yuck!
