Court: Spears to pay most of K-Fed's legal fees
Britney Spears has been ordered to pay $120,000 in legal fees to her ex-husband Kevin Federline, who was awarded temporary custody of their young sons.

Superior Court Commissioner Scott M. Gordon ordered the pop star to pony up that much of the $154,500 in legal fees that Federline owes to his attorney, according to court papers filed Tuesday.

Gordon made the decision after considering factors including “the notable disparity between the parties' income,” the ruling said.

A call to Spears' attorney was not immediately returned.

Court papers released last week show that Spears makes roughly $737,000 per month and spends lavishly on clothes and entertainment. Meanwhile, Federline “indicates that he does not earn any income,” the ruling said.

Federline, father of 2-year-old Sean Preston and 1-year-old Jayden James, receives $15,000 per month in child support and $20,000 in spousal support from Spears.

‘Diddy' Combs won't face criminal charges

Sean “Diddy” Combs won't face criminal charges for reportedly punching a man after a dispute at a trendy SoHo nightspot last month, prosecutors said Tuesday.

The accuser stopped cooperating with law enforcement and also gave different versions of the incident, the Manhattan district attorney's office said, and prosecutors weren't able to prove criminal charges beyond a reasonable doubt.

The 31-year-old accuser told police he and Combs had been arguing over a woman early in the morning of Oct. 13 before the rap mogul punched him in the face.

Combs' attorney, Benjamin Brafman, called the incident a disagreement between acquaintances who have known each other for 12 years.

Meat Loaf scraps tour due to vocal cord cyst

Meat Loaf has canceled a European tour after developing a cyst on his vocal cords.

The 56-year-old rocker will have four to six weeks of vocal therapy before doctors decide whether he needs surgery, said a statement posted on his Web site Tuesday.

He had already scrapped several British dates on the “Three Bats” tour after walking off the stage in the northern English city of Newcastle last week during a rendition of his 1970s hit “Paradise by the Dashboard Light.”

“It really breaks my heart not to be able to perform these shows,” he said in a statement. “I was really looking forward to capping off a great year and celebrating the start of the holidays with the fans. But I have to do what the doctors tell me so I can look forward to healing and coming back strong in 2008.”

“Let me dispel any rumors before they start - I will be back,” he said.
