We are learning about pollution and what it is. Pollution is dirty air, land and water.

Air pollution can make it hard to breathe.

Also, if it gets in the air, then it can put little holes in the ozone. Then if it does, the harmful rays and the sun can give people skin cancer.

Water pollution can kill lots of fish and can hurt people who drink polluted water.

Also, if you pollute, then it can go in the air and comes together with water vapor and could make acid rain.

Then if it does, it can kill trees, which give us stuff, like paper.

Land pollution can hurt animals like birds.

For an example, a plastic soda can holder can get stuck around a bird's neck and kill it.

People can help by not throwing garbage on the ground.

Also people can help by not polluting the water, air or land.
