2007 unofficial election results: Mayor's race undecided

It was the night of races that were too close to call. Races for city of Auburn mayor, along with contests for town supervisor in Owasco, Fleming and Summerhill, all came down to a few votes separating the candidates. As a result, absentee ballots will likely determine winners.
In other races, perhaps the most contentious campaign battle turned out to be a rather lopside victory. Jon Budelmann easily defeated Michael Bass in the race for district attorney.

Here is a brief summary of some key races in the county:


City of Auburn proposition (100% reporting)

Should the City of Auburn exercise the option provided by state Civil Service Law, and approve the provisions of local Law No. 6 of 2007, which amends the City Charter eliminating the Civil Service Commission and transferring its functions to a municipal personnel officer? yes 1571 no 2098
