I just wanted to express my thanks to the following:

1. The local residents of the East Genesee Street Roadway Rehabilitation Area. They have been absolutely patient, polite, friendly and a pleasure to talk to as they made their way either by foot or vehicle through the obstacle course of the construction site. I have especially enjoyed watching parents bring their kids to Hoopes Park (an absolutely beautiful and peaceful park) to feed the ducks and the seagulls. And also I enjoyed seeing the fathers with their little boys watching the big excavators dig up the road.

2. The Rizzo Construction workers, especially the pipe crew I worked with. They were absolutely the most courteous, professional crew have had the opportunity to work with. I especially want to thank Superintendent Kevin Rizzo, Glenn, Scott, Larry, James, Lloyd, Tommy and Eddie for being so kind and considerate with the school kids (walkers) - helping them across the streets; with the senior citizens who drove up the “closed” roadways - they either helped them make U-turns or just moved all the barricades and barrels to let their through.

3. Finally, I want to thank Joel, Steven, Dave, Mike and Jim - (The C&S engineers) for accepting me so readily into their fold, for their assistance, patience and professionalism. I will miss you all very, very much!
