USBC Hall of Fame dinner is Nov. 10
The Auburn USBC Bowling Association Hall of Fame dinner will be held at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 10, at the Sunset Restaurant, North Division Street, Auburn.
This year's inductees are Paul Samasuck, Ed Detomaso, Louis Matro, Diane O'Donnell and Betty Stevens. Seasonal awards will also be presented.
Reservations can be made by calling Diane O'Donnell at 252-1939 by Thursday, Nov. 1.
The cost is $20 per ticket.
Pasta dinner will benefit Pop Warner
There will be a pasta dinner from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 6, at the Knights of Columbus, 47 Market St., Auburn, to raise money for Auburn Pop Warner cheerleaders and football players who travel.
Take-out and delivery are available.There will also be a bake sale, a 50/50 raffle and other prizes.

New fall programs at Cato Rec Center
The Cato-Meridian Community Recreation Center is offering the following programs: swim lessons for babies and youth, arthritis water class, osteoporosis exercise program and karate.
New programs this session include aerobics and kickboxing.
The seven-week session starts the week of Nov. 5.

The Central New York Track & Field Officials Association is holding training sessions for new officials from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Nov. 7 and 14, at Canastota High School.

Cedar House Lanes will host its inaugural Doubles Best-Ball Tournament on Thanksgiving night with squads at 6, 7:30 and 9.

D-days merchandise on sale
The Auburn Doubledays are selling merchandise for their 2007 New York Penn League Title and are teaming up with United Way of Cayuga County until Christmas, and will donate portions of the sale. You can buy the gear at Falcon Park, and Casey Park.
The Clubhouse Shop is open at Falcon Park from 10 AM until 5 PM, Monday through Friday.
Food drive going on this month
Calvary Food Pantry has been allowed to hold a Food Drive at three Fitness Centers for the whole month of November.
The following Fitness Centers are hosting this event: the Swartz Fitness and Health Center at 190 State St, Auburn; the Fingerlakes Health Center, 2116 West Genesee Street, Auburn; and the Champions For Life Center, Grant Ave., Auburn.
Sportsmen's Club offering shootings
The Cayuga County Sportsmen's Club is offering skeet, 5-stand, trap and sporting clay shooting every Sunday morning starting at 9 a.m.
