Mike Quill will bring needed change to city hall

Friday, November 2, 2007 11:18 PM EDT

A change of leadership is needed in the mayor's office. There is only one candidate that can truly make a change. That candidate is Mike Quill.
Mike is a native Auburnian. He and his wife, Joan, raised their family in Auburn. They have been property owners, taxpayers and dedicated members of our community for many, many years. Mike truly represents the interests of the dedicated and hard-working property owners and taxpayers of Auburn. He has stepped forward as a candidate to restore leadership and integrity to the mayor's office.

Many people in Auburn are tired of the bickering and fighting that has occurred between Mayor Lattimore and members of city council. This election is your chance to hold them accountable for their bad behavior.

Many people are tired of hearing about the negative atmosphere that has been created at city hall under the direction of Mayor Lattimore. This has caused for many talented and dedicated city employees to leave employment with the city. At the very least shouldn't the Mayor treat our city's employees with dignity and respect? This election is your chance to hold him accountable for his bad behavior. It is time for him to go.

Four years ago Mayor Lattimore promised that his policies would create 1500 new jobs in Auburn. His policies have been put to work and in the end no additional jobs were created. His approach to economic development is based in fantasy not reality. It is time for him to go. To make a change in the Mayor#'s office elect Mike Quill. Mike will restore leadership and integrity to city hall. He will serve our city well as its next mayor.

" What a shame that the city has three canidates to run for mayor, Not one of them has the god given brains to run the city of Auburn. Request that the voters do a write in canidate. Irwin (lefty) Glauberman, he managed the agway plant on York street for over thirty Years, he was the boss of over forty people and he ran the office with outstanding people and had minior problems with employees and customers. Lefty was the fairest boss I ever worked for. He had an open door policy,he knew the families of the employee he had working for him,he cared about his employees and he loved Agway and he loves this city. Lefty know how to get thing done and he is old,so he won't have train to be a fighter. He'll be a great leader. Think about it, he is wiser, smarter and doesn't run from a fightand, knows whats best for this city. And a Mayor and a councilman should not be fighting over the same girl,Mayor Glauberman would have fired them all. A write in vote for Irwin(Lefty) Glauberman, is a vote not wasted and a vote for a better future in Auburn.GO LEFTY GLAUBERMAN "

" How many times will this tired mantra be repeated? You practically beat Mr. Quill over the head the night before your meeting to 'save your party' from Mr. Dempsey. As for employees leaving City Hall, Tom Leone was elected Judge and took two other people with him. The planning director went to the county, the treasurer to CCC and another manager went to work for the Indians. The interim treasurer did not like the position, and a city planner did not like the city manager trying to manage his staff. CSEA and the Auburn Police have endorsement the Mayor so it seems like the rank and file have no problem with the city's direction. Quill has the firefighters because he's the only city candidate to promise keeping the 15-man minimum. Quill has no ideas, no substance, no positions except to bash the Mayor. A vote for Quill is a vote for Mason, Lacey, Jacobs, & Hunter - all defeated candidates. "

" Chuck Mason is a political hasbeen that could not even garner a quarter of the vote. What makes him think anyone cares about his endorsement for mayor? "
